Terms of Service & Studio Policies

By booking an appointment, entering Black Sparrow Tattoo Studio, or utilizing our website, you agree to comply with the following studio terms and conditions:

1. Strict Age Requirement (18+ Only)

In accordance with the Code of Laws of South Carolina, you must be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo. There are strictly NO parental consent exceptions. Valid government-issued photo identification (Driver's License, State Identification Card, Military ID, or Passport) must be presented prior to service. Failure to produce valid ID results in cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.

2. Deposit & Cancellation Policy

• Non-Refundable: All deposits are strictly non-refundable and cover the artist's time spent preparing custom artwork and reserving exclusive studio chair time.
• Credited to Final Session: 100% of your deposit is deducted from the final price of your tattoo session.
• 48-Hour Rescheduling Notice: You may reschedule your appointment once without penalty if you provide at least 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled time. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice or failing to appear (no-show) automatically forfeits your deposit.

3. In-Person Pricing Policy

All quotes provided over the internet, telephone, or social media are rough estimates only. Binding, firm pricing is determined exclusively in person at our studio after evaluating exact skin dimensions, anatomical placement, and design complexity.

4. Health, Sobriety & Safety Disclosures

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion. We will strictly not tattoo or pierce anyone who:

• Appears to be under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, narcotics, or intoxicating substances.
• Is pregnant or nursing.
• Presents sunburned, infected, damaged, or severely irritated skin in the target placement area.
• Engages in aggressive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward staff or other clients.

5. Aftercare & Touch-Up Warranty

You agree to follow the written aftercare protocol provided by your artist. Black Sparrow provides one complimentary touch-up within 6 months of your session if aftercare instructions were followed. Touch-ups necessitated by negligence (such as swimming, picking scabs, or scratching) will incur a standard artist setup fee.

6. Intellectual Property & Flash Artwork

All original flash sheets, custom sketches, and digital assets produced by Connor Kirkman and Black Sparrow resident artists remain the intellectual property of the studio and may not be reproduced without express written consent.
